Ryan is a resident physician in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle. He attended The Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, and before that, majored in Biochemistry from Indiana University. He is an avid consumer of the news and all things political. He is particularly interested in healthcare policy and ethical challenges presented by new technology in the age of big data. He loves tennis, adores his cat, and loves reading non-fiction. In his spare time, he can often be found traveling and exploring new places.
